    • Pete Muir is the project lead for Seam and Web Beans, and is a lead developer on RichFaces, a Rich Ajax JSF component set. Pete also represents JBoss on the JSF 2.0 Expert Group. Pete is currently employed by Red Hat, as a core developer working on JBoss open source projects. Before working for Red Hat, Pete used and contributed to Seam whilst working for a UK based staffing agency as IT Development Manager.

    • Peter Kriens is currently the OSGi Director of Technology. He has worked extensively for major companies like Intel, Ericsson, Motorola, Adobe, IBM, and Nokia. In 1998 he started working with the precursor to the OSGi Alliance. He has been heavily involved in all major releases of the OSGi specifications.
      He currently manages the OSGi technical work and gives workshops as the OSGi evangelist.

    • Dušan Omerčević is the head of software development at Najdi.si - largest Internet search engine in Slovenia. Before joining Najdi.si he led several large software development projects (e.g., highway traffic management system, electronic toll collection). He pursues a PhD in computer vision at University of Ljubljana.

    • Manik Surtani is a core R&D engineer at JBoss, a division of Red Hat, and project lead on Infinispan and JBoss Cache. He has a background in artificial intelligence and neural networks, a field he left behind when he moved from academic circles to the commercial world. Since then, he's been working with Java-related technologies, first for a startup focusing on knowledge management and information exchange, and later for a large London-based consultancy as a tech lead focused on e-commerce applications on large Java EE and peer-to-peer technology. Surtani is a strong proponent of open source development methodologies, ethos, and collaborative processes.

    • Andrej Bauer obtained his Ph.D. in 2000 at the School of Computer science, Carnegie Mellon University. He is a university professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana. His research covers topics from logic, computability theory, the theory of programming languages, and topology.

    • Alen Vrečko has been programming ever since sixth grade primary school. First started working with Java since its 5.0 release back in December of 2004. Currently studies Computer Science. As a complement to studies he worked 3 years part-time at Cosylab. For the past 6 months he is working part-time at Sinergise.
